Derby Homefinder

Prioritising your application

Social Housing CBL applicants

We prioritise applicants in accordance with their housing need. Those with the greatest housing need will be given the highest priority. We place applicants in one of two bands these are:

  • Emergency Band
Priority is based on the date applicants are put in to this band, applicants in this band have the highest priority for housing.

  • Housing Needs Band
Priority is based on number of needs, length of time in band, length of time on the Housing Register
For more information on how we priorities your application see sections 6.2 to 7.2 of the Derby Homefinder Allocations Policy.
