From Saturday 18 February 2012, we will only accept online housing applications from existing Derby Homes tenants. 

For everyone else, our priority is to discuss your housing situation and advise you of your housing options before we accept a housing application. This is because of the shortage of accommodation in the city.

Delays in Processing

Unfortunately, we are not able to process housing applications, change of circumstances forms or web messages as quickly as we would like to.

This is due to staff shortages, large numbers of messages, housing applications and change of circumstances requests.

We are doing all we can to process work as quickly as we can, however it will be some time before we get our workloads up to date.  We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

Our aim is to help you find an affordable home in Derby and to give you more choice in deciding where you would like to live.  Derby Homefinder is a partnership between:
